/ Certification / Root Industry Certificate

The root industry certificate is the state's confirmation that a company holds the process technologies on which manufacturing rests.

With the certificate, the difference shows in foreign workforce allocation,
policy funding and procurement points.

Scope of root technology SCOPE

Base process technologiesCasting, moulding, plastic forming, welding, surface treatment and heat treatment — the six traditional processes that turn material into parts.
Next-generation processesInjection and press work, precision machining, additive manufacturing, industrial film and paper, robotics, sensors and industrial intelligent software — eight expanded fields.

Which of the two your process falls under determines both the documents required and the criteria applied.

When we
can help
CASES

  • You are seeking root-industry preference in the allocation of foreign workers
  • You cannot tell whether your process qualifies as a root technology
  • You are unsure how to present your plant and process documentation
  • Your certificate is expiring and needs renewal

How it proceeds PROCESS

  1. 01
Establishing eligibilityWe compare the line of business on your registration with what you actually do, and identify the root technology field.
  2. 02
Assembling the materialProcess diagrams, equipment schedules, revenue composition and trading record are structured to the assessment criteria.
  3. 03
FilingWe apply online to the root industry centre and answer requests for supplementation.
  4. 04
Certificate issuedOnce issued, we explain how to use it for foreign workforce allocation and policy funding.

Do not judge by your industry code alone. The test is the process you actually perform, not the business type on your registration. Companies that appear not to qualify often do, once the process is examined.
