/ Visa / Change of Status

A change of status has to be prepared while your current status is still valid.

If little time is left on your stay, or you are already engaged in activity outside your status,
your options narrow sharply.

  2. 02
Closing the gapsWhere a requirement is not met, we set out what must be obtained and by when.
  3. 03
DocumentsEmployment contract, certificates of employment and career, degree verification and other evidence are assembled.
  4. 04
FilingWe file with the competent immigration office and track the application.
  5. 05
Requests for further evidenceIf further documents or an interview are required, we handle it with you.

You must apply before your stay expires. Once the period has passed, a change of status becomes very difficult and a fine applies. Seek advice at least two months before expiry.
