/ Permits / Factory Registration

Factory registration is frequently the precondition for tax relief, policy funding and a range of business certifications.

The site decides the outcome.
Checking before you commit to a property is what matters most.

When we
can help
CASES

  • You need approval to build or extend a plant, or to change the line of business
  • You want a building already in use registered as a factory
  • Before buying or leasing, you need to know whether your line of business is permitted in that zoning
  • You need a factory registration certificate for a corporate R&D centre, venture certification or policy funding
  • You need to register a manufacturing workshop or move into a knowledge-industry centre

What to check first CHECKPOINTS

ZoningWhether a factory in that line of business is permitted in a planned management zone, industrial zone and so on
Industry codeThe standard industrial classification determines both whether it is permitted and what further licences are needed
Building useWhether the registered use of the building is "factory", and whether a change of use is required
Floor areaA building area of 500 square metres or more requires factory establishment approval
Environment and fireNotification of air and water discharge facilities, and further steps where hazardous materials are handled

How it proceeds PROCESS

  1. 01
Site and industry reviewWe compare the land use plan, the building register and the industry code to establish feasibility first.
  2. 02
Application for approvalThe business plan and layout drawings are filed with the city, county or district office.
  3. 03
Construction and ancillary permitsBuilding permit, change of use and discharge facility notifications are run alongside.
  4. 04
Completion notificationOnce the equipment is installed, the completion of establishment is notified.
  5. 05
Certificate issuedWith registration complete, the certificate is issued and used for the certifications that follow.

Check before you sign. The most common problem by far is committing to land or a building and only then finding the line of business is not permitted. An address is enough for us to review it in advance.
